{"id":24,"date":"2013-02-17T19:13:17","date_gmt":"2013-02-17T19:13:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mileendmecca.com\/greg\/?page_id=24"},"modified":"2017-03-14T06:18:55","modified_gmt":"2017-03-14T06:18:55","slug":"the-inspection","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/gmhi.ca\/index.php\/the-inspection\/","title":{"rendered":"The Inspection"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A home inspection is a visual examination of the major systems and components of your home, both inside and out.<\/p>\n<p><b>The home inspection includes, but is not limited to:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Roofing<\/li>\n<li>Exterior cladding<\/li>\n<li>Windows\/doors<\/li>\n<li>Attic and insulation<\/li>\n<li>Electrical<\/li>\n<li>Plumbing<\/li>\n<li>HVAC<\/li>\n<li>Foundation<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-align: justify;\">Drainage\/Grading<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Structure<\/li>\n<li>All major systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During the home inspection we will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>explain to you the types of systems, their function and the materials involved;<\/li>\n<li>identify deficiencies and how they impact you;<\/li>\n<li>suggest ways to fix these deficiencies, and possible costs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You will receive a detailed report within twenty-four hours of the home inspection.<\/p>\n<p>Our home inspections meet or exceed the standards of practice as defined by<br \/>\n<strong>The Canadian Association of Home Inspectors<\/strong> (CAHPI).<\/p>\n<p>Your home inspection will take between two and a half to three hours to complete, depending on the size and complexity of the home.<\/p>\n<p>You are encouraged to be present for the entire inspection. It is a great opportunity to explain to you the systems of the home and how they will affect you. It is also a good time to get an answer any questions you may have.<\/p>\n<p>Our service does not end at the completion of the inspection. Clients are able to call us at any time with questions about their home.<\/p>\n<p>Please try to remember, a home inspection is a visual inspection.
